The ACC/AFT Labor Film Series presents Talkin' Union, a film following four Texas women as they attempt to unionize their workplaces and fight for worker power. Made in 1979, the film was produced by People's History in Texas, a grassroots organization educating working and poor Texans about their history. ACC/AFT's own Richard Croxdale, along with Glenn Scott, Melissa Hield, and Jim Cullers, made this film.
Talkin' Union will be screened on Wednesday, October 22 at 7 pm at Rio Grande Campus room 320. Running time 58 minutes. Hope to see you all out!
